Muppu

Man is know to make mistakes, deliberately or due to his carelessness. The mistakes we do are being observed by our children, this aspect is unnoticed by us.

The children when they attain adolesence tend to repeat the mistakes done by the elders in the family. This is the story line of the movie Muppu. Muppu – in Kannada means old age. Therefore it is pertinent to understand to respect our elders and parents who have sacrificed their lives for us.

ಮುಪ್ಪು

ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವು ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಷಯ ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವರಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅದೇ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾದ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳ ಸುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಹೊಸ ರೂಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರ ಬಂದ ಕಥೆಯೇ ಮುಪ್ಪು.

ಮುಪ್ಪು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ನೆರಳಿನಂತೆ ಕೊನೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ವೃದ್ಧರನ್ನು, ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸೋಣ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು , ಸಾಕಿ ಸಲುಹಿ, ಆಡಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ನಾಗರೀಕರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿದ ಹೆತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಇರುವಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
