Several movies have been telecasted on the ideals and model of Mahatma Gandhiji.  Mahatma Gandhiji’s ideals are still relevant today. However, are the ideal of Gandhi-ji in practice today is the question? In a world where Modernization, Humanity and Discipline has been forgotten completely and ignored; this movie is an attempt to search the ideals of Bapu. The movie is aptly titled ‘In search of Bapu’ Aryan Shivakumar has directed the movie.

ಮಹಾತ್ಮಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಅವರ ತತ್ವಾದರ್ಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಬಾಪು ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ. ಆದರೆ ಇಂದಿನ ಆಧುನಿಕಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಯವರ ತತ್ವಾದರ್ಶಳು ಪಾಲನೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೇ?.ಆಧುನೀಕರಣದ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮರೆತ ಈ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿಗಾಂಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವೇ‘ ಇನ್ ಸರ್ಚ್‍ಆಫ್ ಬಾಪು’. ಆರ್ಯನ್ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
