Homeopathy medicines are made from small active ingredient and are hence safer to use. Homeopathic remedies cure the root cause of the problem rather than treating the ailment. Homeopathic medicine is safe to use for pregnant, kids and even breastfeeding women, under the supervision of a homeopathic practitioner.
Another benefit of Homeopathic medicine is they can also be used in a complementary way in other situations. For example, it can be used to speed up the recovery time after operations.
Homeopathy medicines are Non-Addictive and inexpensive; thus they provide an affordable approach for recovery. Unlike modern medicines, Homeopathic medicines can be stored for long periods of time. Homeopathic treatment is non-invasive; has a holistic approach for curing a particular ailment.
Homeopathy works by stimulating the body’s own healing power. The Homeopathic practitioner gives you medicine or remedy which matches your symptoms as you experience them and which takes into account.
The homeopathic treatment creates a stable foundation for your health. A strong immune system will be able to resist sickness.
People are now leaning towards alternative medicine, thanks to its affordability and side-effect free treatment. A recent research study revealed that more than 59% of people in major cities have shifted from allopathy to homeopathy citing homeopathic treatment to be safe.
The sample space for the study was taken from cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Indore.
In allopathy, the studies and outcome of studies are purely empirical while homeopathy always involves long discussions with the patient regarding all aspects of patient’s illness and life. Homeopaths consider it important to treat a subject as a whole rather than curing the signs/symptoms that cause disease.
Allopathic medicines cure the ailment by affecting the natural defense of the body, whereas homeopathy embraces the body’s natural response system by either encouraging the symptoms of healing or attacking the root cause of illness.
Homeopathic treatment gives a greater sense of well-being and happiness. Since Homeopathic remedies go much deeper than most types of treatment, changes in life-long problems, both physical and emotional also have been reported.
It has also been proposed by the Government to introduce a Teacher’s Eligibility Test to assess the standard of teachers for promotions and appointments.
Marking a series of administrative reforms, the Union Cabinet approved the draft National Commission for Homeopathy Bill, which will replace the current regulator Central Council for Homeopathy to ensure better transparency. This comes after Central Government’s efforts in popularising alternative medicine and establishing a separate AYUSH Ministry headed by Shripad Yesso Naik.
The draft bill provides for a constitution of a National Commission comprising of three autonomous boards which is entrusted for conducting overall education of Homeopathy by Homeopathy Education Board.
Further, a Common Entrance Exam and Exit exam will be introduced for all graduates to get practicing licenses.
The series of reforms by the Union Government is aimed at bringing reforms in the medical education of Homeopathy.
