People often disregard humanity and equate people on the basis of their wealth, status and caste. The short movie shows how people stoop to a low by being selfish; small-minded and Egoistic.
This movie is a product of the research conducted by the students of Kuvempu University. Despite being a new team, the movie has come our really well across all parameters.
ಮಾಸ್ಕ್
ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಒಂದಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಮುಖವಾಡವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಂತಸ್ತು – ಜಾತಿ – ಮೇಲು – ಕೀಲುಗಳು ಎನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರು ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವದ ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆಯನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರು ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕೆಳಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವಂತಹ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಈ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನೋಡುಗರಿಗೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕುವೆಂಪು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಚಾತುರತೆಯಿಂದ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡವಾದರೂ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
